TORNADO SEASON

As the severe weather season approaches, take some time to make a safety plan for your family and learn the DUCK drill.
Although there are exceptions, the peak season for tornados in Ohio is typically April through July. Tornados usually strike between 2pm and 10pm, but have been known to occur at any hour. Be prepared! Remember to DUCK…D, go down to a lower level, U, get under something, C, cover your head, and K, keep in shelter until the storm passes.
