IT Business Analyst

Western Reserve Group's Information Technology Department is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our development team and help us build and deliver new web based applications for our independent agents.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The business analyst on this development team will be responsible for working closely with business and technical resources to gather, document and validate requirements.  This project will use the Agile Methodology which requires the team to be co-located, use story cards to record and communicate requirements, deliver completed functionality in iterations and use open communications to resolve issues, provide clarity and deliver a high quality product.

Requirements:

In order to qualify for consideration, a candidate must have a proven track record of solid requirements gathering, demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast pace team environment. 

In addition, the following criteria must be met:

·         A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and four (4) years of work related experience as a systems or business analyst

·         Minimum two (2) years experience in the insurance industry

·         Experience with Agile development methodologies

·         Excellent facilitation, organization, problem solving skills and personal relationship skills

Western Reserve Group will give priority consideration to candidates who have one of the following:

·         Experience as a developer on a software development project

·         Experience with the following types of software:

o   Requirements management software (ex. Requisite Pro)

o   Defect tracking software (ex. Mercury Quality Center (QC))

o   Test Automation (ex. QuickTest Professional (QTP))

·         Experience developing Use Cases and UML
